Pixie Glow Tonic: worth it or nah

Some of you maybe familiar with the Pixi Glow Tonic which seems to have become a cult classic for many YouTubers and super models. Being a self proclaimed skin care junkie, I had to give this product a try and see how it worked for me.

I’ll start by saying this is one of the FEW toners I’ve tried that doesn’t burn or irritate my skin in anyway . It has a scent, but I didn’t find it overwhelming (not that I’m sensitive to smells anyway). It doesn’t over dry my skin and leaves skin feeling smooth and supple after using my face cleanser. Note that this is not an acne treatment nor does it claim to clear acne or blemishes so while it helped my skin  feel soothe, I continued with my usual acne treatment of 5% benzoyl peroxide  by . I have noticed that my hyperpigmentation from old blemishes are not as prominent.

Will I buy this product again? Hmmmmm, that’s a good question! I’m on the fence about this product as I did like it, I did not love it. I think I’d prefer a toner that helped treat/ prevent acne, but I did like how my skin felt after putting it on (felt smooth and supple even with blemishes) and appears to be lightening my dark marks. Also, I know there have been complaints of the smaller size from Target. This 100 ml/ 3.4 fl. oz. lasted me about 2 months.
